For my website, I decided to go for a blue theme as generally in color theory that represents credibility and trust, something relevant for this topic of ethics. I also had my titles alternate between black and white depending on the background chosen so as to have it contrast with the background images that I used which were standard Google stock photos.
For my layout, I decided to keep things simple and have everything left aligned with no fancy boxes or headers as that can cause issues with viewing when alternating between computers and phones in my opinion. The only exception to this is the Reflection section where I wanted to have an image of me to include but had to set it to the left and the text and title to the right, lest everything look awkward (however in mobile the photo will be on top of the text, causing a difference between computer and phone users, reiterating my point of wanting to keep everything plain to avoid inconsistencies with every other section).Â
For text, I went with a classic single-spaced 12-font Times New Roman as it is a professional look, with an exception made on titles that are 58-font Playfair Display, and headers being 34-font Playfair Display.
