A share is completed if a learner works for more than one organization that uses DirectCourse. This SHARES the learner's training information between your organization and the other organization(s) that they work for. A share request requires learner permission to complete. If your organization shares a learner with another organization and the learner leaves either your organization or the organization the learner's training profile is shared with, fill out this form instead of deactivating the learner. This allows the correct organization to still have access to the learner's training records. The unshare request does not require learner permission to complete. Note that if an organization deactivates a learner from your organization, they can still be reactivated. Contact us at DirectCourseMN@umn.edu to reactivate their profile.
A transfer is completed if a learner is leaving one organization and starting to work for your organization. This request TRANSFERS their training information from their old organization to your organization. A transfer request requires learner permission to complete.
