Purpose: To announce a DirectCourse Learning Administrator Conference

DirectCourse Learning Administrator Conference  

DHS, in partnership with Elsevier/DirectCourse, will host a virtual, one-day DirectCourse Learning  Administrator Conference on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025. 

Conference details 

Use the following information to attend the conference: 

• Date: Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025 

• Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

Note: Session times are listed in Central Standard Time (CST) below. 

• Cost: Free 

• Platform: Microsoft Teams 

This event will offer valuable insights into using the DirectCourse learning system and content to  strengthen training efforts across Minnesota. Participants will: 

• Explore practical strategies. 

• Connect with peers. 

• Discover new ways to support the people and communities we serve.

DirectCourse and workforce development (ICI) 

• Time: 10:30 to 11:20 a.m.

• Topics: "How to use DirectCourse learning management system features as a workforce development tool to train and retain your workforce. Also featured will be recommended lessons to support the understanding of workforce development."

DirectCourse provider success stories 

• Time: 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

• Topics: Real-world examples from Minnesota providers. 

Administrator System Refresher and Onboarding 

• Time: 1 to 2:20 p.m.

• Topics: DirectCourse learning management system introduction and how to add new learners  to your department, assign training, use linked content and create custom modules. 

Advanced Administrator Features 

• Time: 2:30 to 3:20 p.m.

• Topics: How to share and transfer learners, reporting tools, OnTrack functionality, module  cleanup and how to use acknowledgements. 

Closing 

• Time: 3:30 to 4 p.m.
