Orientation - August 6-7, 2025

All incoming dental hygiene, dental therapy, and DDS students are expected to attend two days of in-person orientation in August. These two days will share information and resources important to you as new students. Additionally, orientation will also allow you to start building connections with your new classmates, returning dentistry students, faculty, and staff.

Wednesday, August 6

Check-in begins around 8:30 a.m. and the day will wrap-up by 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, August 7

Additional Asynchronous Orientation Activities

In mid-July, you will be invited to an online “course” called New Student Orientation 2025 through Canvas. Here you will find tasks to complete and information to read through before the first day of orientation. Please keep an eye out for this invitation to your UMN email address in the summer.
