Tools available

There is a bucket of tools available for all gardeners to use in the garden shed. The shed is unlocked, feel free to access tools any time. Please return them to the shed. Tools include rakes, hand tillers, garden hoes, shovels, and more. There are two wheel barrows as well.

Water

There is a hose running from the Community Center to the garden for gardeners to use. Gardeners need to turn on and off the hose at the Community Center building each time they use the water. The green hose goes to the Community Garden, the black hose goes to the playground garden. Use big red lever to turn the water on and off each time you use it. Leave the little gold levers as they are.

There are also rain barrels in the garden that can be filled up using the hose for gardeners who would prefer to let the water warm up before using it on their gardens. Gardeners doing this will need to bring their own watering cans (unless someone wants to donate one to the shed!). Here's the on/off valve for getting water out of the rain barrels:
