Stay connected with the CEMS network through video calls with your classroom. CEMS volunteers, including undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and alumni, can sign up to speak to your students about a wide range of topics. As our volunteers can call in from anywhere, you can sign up to have nationwide and even international volunteer speakers.
Depending on your students and your curriculum, you can select a volunteer that best meets your students' needs. Examples of video call sessions include but are not limited to:Â
Undergraduate student speaker sharing college advice with high school students
Graduate student speaker answering open questions about their research area with middle school students (e.g. what are plastics and how are they made?)
Alumni or faculty speaker presenting on their career path with high school students in pre-professional programs or with elementary school students as a "career day"
