I am currently a NSF Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford working with Professor Coralia Cartis in the area of numerical optimization. I completed my PhD in mathematics at the University of Minnesota where I was co-advised by Professor Gilad Lerman and Professor Shuzhong Zhang. My current research focuses on the development of theory and algorithms for constrained nonconvex optimization, and  I am also very interested in applications of optimization for humanitarian purposes.
