THRIVE is designed to provide emerging student leaders with resources to cultivate a thriving environment at the Carlson School. The program is intended for Carlson School students who are first generation and/or from historically underrepresented groups who demonstrate commitment to learning and leadership development. Select incoming students are invited to join the THRIVE cohort, in which they take Carlson courses, participate in community building and leadership retreats together, and are provided peer mentorship.

Power Lunches connect Carlson School first- and second-year undergraduate women with business leaders for insightful conversations. Each month, preeminent women who are leaders in their fields will share lessons from their careers and discuss current business topics with a small group of undergraduate women. Lunches are typically hosted on Friday's from noon to 1pm. We are currently building out our schedule but we will have one a month from now until march.
We are always looking for partners to host our students for a site visit or provide a professional development workshop for our students. We welcome your ideas!
Business Innovation Academy is a two-week, interactive, and hands-on summer program for rising 7th- and 8th-graders. The Carlson School is proud to collaborate with Equity Alliance MN to ignite students’ passion for learning and to provide opportunities to explore higher education and careers in business. The purpose of this summer program is to boost students’ personal awareness and self-confidence, as well as improve problem solving and soft skills.
