About

This blog was started when the medical students were removed from the hospitals and clinics due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lack of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to keep the medical students safe. This interrupted their education while becoming physicians. We created a course about COVID-19 where students engaged directly with the lay public to help spread accurate information about COVID-19. Students learned necessary information about COVID-19 and important skills needed for communicating as physicians.

This blog will continue as a repository for other courses and other medical students about topics not related to COVID-19. All work published here is initiated by the students and reviewed for publication by professors. Views here do not represent the University of Minnesota.
