Two banners will be selected for State Fair exhibition.· New· Previously Exhibited (For display only; no judging)Purpose: Create a 4-H banner to make a statement and express your feelings about 4-H involvement by emphasizing: joining 4-H, a project, benefits of involvement in 4-H, the local club, Wright County 4-H or 4-H in general.Judged on the following criteria:a. Does it have immediate impact?b. Does it tell the message quickly and simply?c. Does it show quality in materials and craftsmanship?Requirements:· Banner must be 3’ x 5’ and designed to hang vertically.· It must be completed and equipped with a dowel (minimum size 3’ 8”) and rope, ready to hang.· Banner must be made of fabric (no paper) and can be one or two-sided.· Club name on 3 x 5” card pinned to back. (Any assembly technique can be used.)· To be eligible for State Fair, it must be a banner that has never been shown at the County Fair before.
Club Scrapbook
(Not State Fair Eligible) · Club scrapbook telling a story about a special activity or project the club did during the past year.RequirementsShow and explain your club activities and participation in community and county events.
Share-the-Fun
(No judging)Present your Share-the-Fun skit at the County Fair on the Exhibit Building Stage! Call the office to schedule a time.
Community Pride
Two Community Pride exhibits will be selected for State Fair exhibition.RequirementsThe exhibit may include a three-sided display (not to exceed 12” deep, 24” wide, 36” high), video, or other visual method which visually highlights the entire project or certain parts in a manner which tells the public what positive affects the project had on the community. Two club youth who participated in the project may represent the club in conference judging.Exhibit Suggestions· Display board including pictures and descriptions of a club’s community service work.· Scrapbook with highlights from the creation or restoration of a club or general 4-H promotional sign in the community.
4-H Garbage Barrels
Be creative and decorate a garbage barrel for use on the Wright County Fairgrounds. Each 4-H club may enter a maximum of two garbage barrel exhibits. Barrels must be identified with club name. Wright County Fair will be providing the barrels. They can be picked up at any time from the swine barn and must be returned on entry day at the latest.

Registration for Club Exhibits
Club leaders are responsible for registering for all club exhibits.Most club exhibits will be conference judged. Clubs should send one or two members with the exhibit for judging.
