I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan. 

Before joining Michigan, I was a Morrey visiting assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics, University of California, Berkeley, hosted by Prof. Lin Lin. I received my Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from University of Wisconsin-Madison under the direction of Qin Li.

Research interest:

I work in applied and computational mathematics, with a particular focus on numerical analysis. A central theme of my research is developing a deep mathematical understanding of existing algorithms and designing new, principled ones.
