Logan Ceallaigh (it’s pronounced “Cal-Ae”) has been correcting people's mispronunciation of her last name her whole life. As if garbled half-attempts at getting it right weren't bad enough, Logan soon finds herself the victim of a vicious bullying scandal, and it can all be traced back to Marcy, a former friend who coined Logan's now infamous title of "Sea Hag." In addition to Logan's public humiliation, her nonconformist behavior and unassuming personality have left her with an extremely different high school experience than many of her peers, making her a self-proclaimed "Pegasus." That all changes when, out of the blue, Wes Cameron, the golden boy of Monroe County High School, finally pays her any attention. While this spunky teen has lived her whole life on the outskirts of the social bubble, she's about to find out that being on the inside isn't exactly what she thought it would be. What reason could Wes have for noticing her? What will Logan find as this whole new world is opened up to her? And is gaining access to the inner circles of the popular really worth the cost of admission?
