The Writers Room is a student-led writing organization modeled after professional TV writing rooms.
Each year, a select team of writers collaborates to conceptualize, develop, and script an entirely original season of television.
We are currently writing for Twisted Strings.
"Twisted Strings" follows two brothers who navigate the criminal underworld of the infamous Chicago Outfit. We will develop the show into a ten-episode season of TV over the course of the 2026-27 academic year.

The Writers Room was started by FTVM student Bridget Jean in 2020. The program has grown rapidly and hopes to continue to provide students a uniquely enriching environment.
Despite only six years since its conception, alumni have already gone on to work in script development and talent representation in Los Angeles and New York.
