My name is Austin Proos and I am currently a senior at the University of Michigan. I am a Political Science major with a minor in Writing. My dream is to one day enter the world of disability law as a lawyer. When I am not up late at night contemplating the world, I am usually in front of the nearest tv watching anything from Survivor to any Detroit sports team. 

This project took form after a long semester of Political Science classes that left me fairly depressed about the state of the world, left with seemingly no hope I wanted to find the humor in our government and political system. I wanted to create something that highlights the fun and comedy in our political system, and thus the Wait, Thats Real? Podcast was born. My hope is that this podcast can be a politically cathartic deep breath for you, as it has been for me.
