Living in a Panhellenic Sorority House
Living in a chapter house is one of the hallmarks of membership in a Panhellenic sorority at the University of Michigan. All sororities require that their chapter houses are full; this is an obligation of membership. Each sorority sets priorities that allow members to live out and requirements for who must live in depending on the spaces available. Generally (but not always) newer or younger members and officers live in until all spaces have been filled then other members may be granted permission to live out.
Do not sign housing leases for residence halls or off-campus apartments/houses until your housing requirements for your sorority have been determined.
