University of Michigan SIAM Student Chapter
Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) is an international organization incorporated to "build cooperation between mathematics and the worlds of science and technology."
Sponsored by Michigan Center for Applied and Interdisciplinary Mathematics (MCAIM) and SIAM, the University of Michigan SIAM Student Chapter regularly hosts the Student Applied and Interdisciplinary (AIM) Mathematics Seminar at East Hall. Generally, these events are open for anyone to attend. This year, we are aiming to have more events, like the 2024 SIAM Student Mini-Symposium held last September 2024, networking mixers and possibly field trips.
