The SIAM Student Chapter at the University of Michigan is hosting the 2025 SIAM Student Mini-Symposium in Applied Mathematics on September 6, 2025. Sponsored by the Michigan Center for Applied and Interdisciplinary Mathematics (MCAIM), this event will allow students from different disciplines in the area to see what is being done in the field and promote interest in applied mathematics in general. This event is open to all undergraduate and graduate students in the University of Michigan and the local area.
All graduate students, postdocs, and faculty at the University of Michigan and the local area are invited to submit abstracts on any research topic related to applied mathematics for consideration as an oral presentation or a poster. Undergraduate students are invited to attend and may also present a poster on their research works.
Oral Presentation format: 15 minutes in length, followed by 5 minutes for questions and set-up for the next speaker.
