Welcome to GeoClub @ the University of Michigan! We are a student-run organization that plans events and activities for all students (sometimes faculty and staff too) in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science. Here, you can find information on our upcoming events, photos from past trips, and more.
GeoClub News : Students met at Revel & Roll for a seminar on how mass, sphericity, and friction affect momentum when an object detaches from its source and rolls downhill (aka bowling). We also gathered for a heated discussion on climate change and the impacts of melting rate on vanilla and chocolate glaciers (aka the Welcome Back Ice Cream Social).
