Soha Vaziri, President
Soha Vaziri is a dual-degree MHSA & MBA student from Nebraska. She attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate degree, and studied Community & Global Public Health and Economics. Before graduate school, she spent two years in CVS Health's Finance Leadership Development Program and worked in accounting and enterprise strategy. She spent this summer interning at Chartis as a Summer Associate Consultant supporting a partnership engagement. In her free time, she loves re-creating new recipes, re-watching her favorite tv shows (currently binging HIMYM), and spending time with her friends and family.
Katelyn Sasaki, Vice President
Katelyn Sasaki is a second year MHSA student. She is from Huntington Beach, California, and has lived in SoCal her entire life prior to moving to Michigan this past year. In 2023, she graduated from San Diego State University with her BS in Public Health. This past summer, she interned at Michigan Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry working on a quality and process improvement project, as well as a faculty development project. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends, exploring Ann Arbor and different areas of Michigan, staying active, and watching sports!
Feras Kadadu, Finance Chair
Feras Kadadu is from Flushing, MI. He graduated from MSU in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Physiology and a Minor in Public Health. He loves watching the Lions and every Detroit team (yes, even the Pistons). His healthcare interests are in hospital administration and sports healthcare administration.
Medina Sabic, Communications Chair
Medina Sabic is currently a second-year MHSA student. Prior to her MHSA, she pursued a Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Michigan. She is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is Bosnian-American. Her passion about healthcare began from a young age, as she began translating and advocating for members of her community and worked to help them mitigate barriers to healthcare access.
Outside of Michigan, she is apart of the Krinsky Company, where she works as a Jr. Associate Consultant working across the healthcare ecosystem. She is also an administrative intern within Michigan Medicine's Ambulatory Care Department, primarily working in primary care, plastic surgery, and substance abuse recovery services. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, spending time with friends and family, and trying different restaurants around her college town.
Elena Helmers-Wegman, Professional Development Chair
Elena Helmers-Wegman is a dual degree MHSA/MBA from Cincinnati, Ohio! Before graduate school, she worked at Milken Institute in Washington, DC as a strategic advisor on philanthropic investment in biomedical research. She went to Wofford College for undergrad, where she studied English and Biology - a weird mix but a good one for a science nerd who likes to write.
Chris Moy, Corporate and Alumni Relations Co-Chair
Chris Moy is a second year MHSA student from West Bloomfield, MI. Before HMP, he studied Movement Science in the School of Kinesiology at Michigan, so this is now his 6th year living in Ann Arbor! He recently completed an internship as a Summer Associate Consultant at Chartis, working on various enterprise strategy projects for a large academic medical center on the west coast. In his free time, he loves playing pickleball and spikeball and cheering on the Wolverines and the Detroit Lions!
Amina Dada, Corporate and Alumni Relations Co-Chair
Amina Dada is a second-year MHSA student. She is originally from Mid-Michigan and graduated from Wayne State University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s in Public Health and a minor in business. During undergrad, she completed internships at Henry Ford Health and Massachusetts General Hospital, and recently did her graduate internship at the Cleveland Clinic! In her free time, she enjoys cooking, running, traveling, and trying new food places with friends and family!
Maria Catharina Lantyer-Hazelnis, DEI Chair
Maria Catharina Lantyer-Hazelnis is originally from Brazil, but now calls Florida home. She graduated with her BS in Public Health from the University at Buffalo, New York, and worked for three years at the Genesee County Health Department in Flint, Michigan. She is passionate about hospital management and policy (combined is even better). In her free time, she loves going for walks, exploring new foods, and hanging out with friends and family.
Rudy Roblero, Philanthropy Chair
Rudy Roblero is a dual degree student MHSA/MPP from East Tennessee. In 2023, he earned his BA in Biology with a Minor in Health Sciences at Berea College in Kentucky. During undergrad, he had the opportunity to work as a programming assistant for a local nonprofit helping provide health educational support to rural Appalachian women. This past summer, he interned at Michigan Medicine in the Operations, Ancillary Services, and Safety Department doing project work all over the hospital system.
Kendall Rosevelt, Social Co-Chair
Kendall is a second-year MHSA student. She grew up just outside of Ann Arbor, in a small town called Dexter. In 2023, she earned her BS in Biopsychology, Cognition, & Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. During college, she worked in various roles at Trinity Health Ann Arbor & Brighton, where she learned about memory care, ambulatory operations, patient access, and insurance authorization. This past summer, she interned on Plante Moran’s healthcare operations consulting team and worked on projects in value-based care, ED operations, and population health. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, re-watching tv shows, and spending time with friends & family.
Emily Kraynek, Social Co-Chair
Emily Kraynek is a first-year MHSA student from Sugar Land, TX, with a degree in Public Health from Texas A&M, which she earned in 2023. Her diverse experiences in various healthcare settings kindled my passion for healthcare administration. She is particularly interested in enhancing health outcomes, increasing accessibility, and optimizing efficiencies within healthcare systems. In her free time, she enjoys reading, pickleballing, and spending time with friends and family.
