This RC catapult can shoot ping-pong, squash and tennis balls. After each shoot, it can reload automatically and prepare for the next shoot.
We got the highest score in the competition ;-).
A linear linear guide rail serves as the shooting track, with a slider that can slide freely on it to serve as the ball holder.
Driven by two step motors and lead screws, the electromagnet can attract and pull the ball holder to the shooting position.
The reloading system works just like a russian roulette. It is able to carry 6 ping-pong balls, or 3 tennis balls.
Cutting the current through the electromagnet is pulling the trigger.
