The Suicide Prevention Research in the Community Lab (SPRCL) focuses on community-engaged prevention and intervention science and the optimization of family, community, and systems-based supports for youth at risk. Our team has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and has been engaged in program evaluation and research funded by the NIMH, CDC, and SAMHSA as well as local and national foundations. The SPRCL lab has a strong track record of successfully working with a variety of communities, both urban and rural, to develop strengths-based and feasible interventions to promote youth well-being and prevent adverse outcomes. Our team has expertise in intervention development, implementation, and the translation of evidence-based practices into community settings.
