I served as a co-organizer for the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) University of Michigan student chapter from August 2024 to December 2025. In this role, I helped organize the 2025 AWM UMich Student Chapter Mini-Conference, coordinating speakers, managing logistics, and leading outreach efforts to increase participation. I also organized the chapter’s first-ever “Faculty Spotlight Lunch,” featuring Professor Trachette Jackson, designed to foster closer connections between students and faculty. In addition, I supported the planning and execution of community-building events throughout the year, including social gatherings and chapter-wide dinners that helped strengthen engagement within the math community.
As an officer of the SIAM student chapter, I organized professional development and community-building events for graduate students in applied mathematics. I coordinated an internship and fellowship panel, an "Introduction to Scientific Computing" workshop, and the 2024 SIAM Student Mini-Symposium in Applied Mathematics. I also managed the chapter's weekly seminar series, featuring graduate student speakers from mathematics and related disciplines, and helped foster an inclusive community by organizing social events such as group lunches and dinners for seminar participants.
