Zhaokun (Brandon) Zhang is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan , Ann Arbor. He currently works in Biomedical Manufacturing and Design Lab at UM, led by Professor Albert Shih. He received his BEng in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China in 2015 and his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2020. He worked as an Assistant Research Scientist at Pengcheng Laboratory, Shenzhen, China from 2020 to 2021. He is working on biomedical manufacturing and medical robots.
