Position: Varies by organization, most are general intern.
Employer: All are nonprofits located in Shiawassee County (primarily Owosso). Varies by position, some recurring organizations include Shiawassee Art Center, DeVries, Memorial Health Care, and Steam Railroading Institute.
Compensation: These internships will be for a minimum of 35 hours a week for at least 10 weeks; with the potential to extend this engagement. Students will receive at least $15 per hour for their work.

Who is this geared towards: Students who are going back to Shiawassee County for the summer and want to gain some experience and grow your resume. More specific information for each organization are posted in the job descriptions posted on the website linked above.
Extra Information: The Cook Family Foundation provides the grant to the non-profit for the intern to work for the summer. However, all hiring is done by the non-profit you are applying to. As part of the Fellows cohort, you will be expected to attend meetings with the fellow interns, these are paid work events, at then end of the summer, there will be a day where you go around and visit everyone's place of work and learn what they did throught their time there.
