Scholarships

Sponsor: Shiawassee Community Foundation. Individual sponsors vary by scholarship.

Award Type/Amount: Amount varies by scholarship awarded by direct deposit into your financial aid. Known award amount vary from $100-$5,000. 

Application Timeline: Yearly, November 15 – January 31 

General Criteria: Open to graduating seniors, 5th year, students continuing education, and non-traditional returning students are welcome to apply! Resident, or graduate of a high school in Shiawassee County. 

Required Materials: One essay, high school and college transcripts (when applicable), 2 letters of recommendation, general personal information, and supplementary essays if eligible for any extra applications.

Extra Information: There is one main scholarship application that is for nearly 100 scholarship funds. There are some specific scholarships that have special eligibility information and may require extra information or essays/short answer questions.
