CFM Schiller India is a leader in manufacturing and supplying industry which designs, fabricates and provides setup of machines used in testing different systems of a vehicle. It's parent company, CFM Schiller Gmbh, is a pioneer in the field of vibration-isolated systems for test bench technology and industrial applications. CFM Schiller develops and manufactures test bench components and the complete mechanics for demanding static and dynamic test systems. The area of application extends from the energy industry, automotive industry, railroad and aircraft industry to high-precision laboratory equipment
Sanmit worked as a Product Development Engineer at CFM Schiller India and was the project lead for developing a test system to measure fatigue in different vehicle components. The initial phase of this project involved creating design proposals based on the voice of customer. These design proposals were designed and modeled in Autodesk Inventor using different CAD and FEA features. In the next phase of the project, the initial concept designs were converted into detailed designs based on spatial requirements and cost and manufacturing attributes. Detailed CAD manufacturing drawings were created for all the components of the test system. The final phase involved working with other manufactures and suppliers to get the testbeds of the system machined and conducting quality inspections to assure the reliability of the test system
