Lab members taught high school students about the exciting world of bioengineering and let them get hands on experience making hydrogels.

The Michigan Career Quest is a career exploration experience for high school students to learn about various career opportunities. The bioengineering program hosted a table for students to come see what bioengineering is all about. We provided an interactive activity where students learned how to make a hydrogels and some applications where hydrogels can be used. This event interacted with over 7,000 high school students in the south east Michigan area.
