When the Purchaser gets a shipping notification:
Enter the tracking number and estimated delivery date in the Comments section of the OPS ticket
The system will send the comment in an email to the requester
When a comment is sent, it might be good to let the requester know that any responses should be within the OPS ticket
There is no Shipped status in OPS, so the order status remains the same
When an item arrives, the person who receives the delivery should make sure all items are accounted for
If some items are still outstanding, the Requester or Purchaser should enter a comment on the ticket explaining which items are still outstanding
If all items have arrived, the requestor needs to change the ticket status by clicking on the Order Received in the Receiving section
If the requestor doesn't click the Order Received button once the items have been received, you can follow up by clicking a reminder click on that same button
If packing slip documentation needs to be saved, the Purchaser or other individual with access to the OPS ticket to upload them can do so by clicking on the Manage Packing Slips button in the Receiving section
