Public Safety
The Department of Public Safety provides complete law enforcement services to the campus. Our Police Officers are licensed by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) and authorized to enforce all Federal, State, Local laws and Rules of the University of Michigan. Our officers are also deputized by Genesee County. Our officers are well trained in services unique to an academic institution. We are dedicated to the community policing philosophy as a way of delivering police services to our campus community.

The Registrar's Office provides support for students, faculty, staff and members of the community. Services include registration, transcripts, course catalog and schedule preparation, enrollment verification, graduation audits, and maintenance of student records. The Office of Cashiers/Student Accounts manages student account billing and collection at the University of Michigan-Flint. Our experienced staff provides services to facilitate campus faculty, staff, and students in understanding university policies and procedures, financial analysis, fiscal controls, budgeting, purchasing, collection, and custody and release of campus funds.

Office of Online and Digital Education
Office of Online and Digital Education
UM-Flint offers more than 20 complete programs and hundreds of individual courses online or in mixed mode (hybrid) format. Online students enjoy the same curricula, course content, faculty and learning outcomes as those face-to-face courses. All courses are delivered via the Canvas learning management system and are supported by the Office of Online and Digital Education.
Out-of-state students enrolled in a degree program should take a moment to review the State Authorization information provided by the Office of Online and Digital Education. In July 2020, federal regulations changed for programs with professional licensure requirements.
