Week 1: Virtual Orientation Sessions, Trainings & Introductory Meetings with Mentor

Week 2: Move-In, Professional Headshots, CVC Research Symposium

Week 3 - 9: (Monday through Friday, 8 am - 4 pm)

• Research Meetings with Faculty Mentor/Lab 

• Work on Research Project (Research Poster, Oral Presentation & Manuscript)

• Weekly Check-ins with Program Research Staff

• Presentation Practice Sessions

• Includes professional development workshops and group events

• Heart Dissection with the Frankel Cardiovascular Center

Week 10: 

• URA Symposium (hospital-wide research symposium with Michigan Medicine faculty, staff and UMMS student judges)
