Shivani Madhu
President
Shivani is a senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Math. She got initiated into Tau Beta Pi in Winter 2025 and was elected as the Graduate Vice President for Fall 2025. She served in her role for one semester before being elected as President in Winter 2026. She enjoys doing research and has been a research assistant and tutor for 2 years.
Fun Fact: If you sit with Shivani she can sketch out your portrait in half an hour.
Dominic Voight
Graduate Vice President
Dominic is a junior currently studying Electrical Engineering. He was initiated into TBP in Winter 2025 and served as the Social Events Coordinator. He enjoys working out, playing video games, and going out on hikes.
Fun Fact: He somehow ended up on the Washington Post when he was little, visiting the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum in D.C.
Sophia Parisek
Undergraduate Vice President
Sophia is a junior majoring in Electrical Engineering. She was initiated into Tau Beta Pi in Winter 2025, and this is her second semester as the Undergraduate Vice President. Between her classes and internship, she loves trying to help navigate candidates through the process of becoming members and spending time with like-minded engineers in a friendly environment.
Fun Fact: Sophia was a competitive gymnast and had the chance to compete at a meet in the Bahamas.
Joshua Kuehn
Corresponding Secretary
Josh is a junior in Software Engineering, specializing in AI. He was initiated into Tau Beta Pi in Fall 2023 and has held many officer positions. He was the Treasurer and now the Corresponding Secretary for two semesters. He is also a part of the Honors Program at UM - Dearborn. He enjoys video games, sports, and spending time with friends and family.
Fun Fact: Josh played Varsity High School Soccer
Zain Arslan
Recording Secretary
Zain is a senior majoring in Electrical Engineering. He was initiated into Tau Beta Pi in the Fall of 2024 and has been the Recording Secretary for two semesters. He currently works as a Co-op at DTE, working on improving automation on the grid. He is also involved with MASA on campus, working on projects like the camera and CAN communication. He also likes to play basketball and chess. Zain also closely follows the NBA.
Fun Fact: He's torn my acl playing basketball.
Sumia Saleh
Treasurer
Sumia Saleh is a junior majoring in Computer Engineering. She was initiated into MI-Iota in Fall 2024. She started as the Service Coordinator for two semesters and is now in her second semester as the Treasurer. Her favorite part of Tau Beta Pi is the focus on service, whether it’s mentoring students, organizing STEM events, or giving back to the community through outreach.
Fun Fact: Sumia loves playing tennis and was the tennis captain in high school.
Neha Santhosh
Social Events Coordinator
Neha is a junior studying Electrical Engineering. She was initiated in Tau Beta Pi in Fall 2025 and was elected as the Social Events Coordinator. She has lived in 4 countries so far: India, the UAE, Ireland, and the US. Some of her hobbies are reading, dancing, and doing nail art!
Fun Fact: She hated reading when she was younger. She started reading for fun when she moved to Ireland around 2016. And now it's one of her main hobbies.
Nicholas Yamine
Professional Development Coordinator
Nick is a senior majoring in Electrical Engineering. He was initiated into MI-Iota in the Winter 2025 semester and has been the Professional Development Coordinator for the past two semesters. He also enjoys the community that has been fostered through TBP. Nick also works as both a mathematics and ECE tutor for UM-Dearborn students.
Fun Fact: Nick has unicycled in the America's Thanksgiving Parade on three separate occasions.
Ever Quezada
Service Events Coordinator
Ever is a junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He was initiated into Tau Beta Pi in Fall 2025 and was elected as the Service Events Coordinator. He is the Suspension Lead for Dearborn Electric Racing, and this is his first semester as the Service Coordinator.
Fun Fact: He used to play water polo.
Fatima Mohammed
Media Coordinator
Fatima is a junior majoring in Electrical Engineering. She was initiated into TBP in Winter 2025 and has been the Media Coordinator for the past two semesters. She joined Tau Beta Pi to engage with a community of engineers dedicated to leadership and service. She has worked as a program assistant and research assistant for a year.
Fun Fact: She's been crocheting for the past 5 years!
Caden Do
Historian
Caden is a senior majoring in Computer Engineering. He was initiated into TBP in Winter 2025 and his first semester as Historian, a new position made this semester. He has also been doing battery research for nearly a year.
Fun Fact: He used to play the violin, guitar, and clarinet.
