Candace M. TenBrink Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Houston – Downtown. Her research includes the strategic aspects of turnarounds, life cycle issues, and innovation. She teaches strategy and international business courses. As a Fulbright Scholar she researched corporate rejuvenation and innovation in Poland and technology change in Moldova.
She consults for international firms that need help with strategic entry in a global context. Prior to entering academia, she was the founder of a film production firm. Her background also includes supply chain management and investment banking in the semiconductor capital equipment industry. John Foody is currently the Program Purchasing Manager for the next generation of full size pickup trucks. He joined General Motors in 2016 as a member of the Global Purchasing & Supply Chain (GPSC) rotational program and has been promoted through various roles within Global Purchasing and Supply Chain primarily in the purchasing organization. Through his many roles, John has played a critical role in leading strategic commercial initiatives, executing critical General Motors vehicles, and implementing new corporate processes.
