Parking

We will go over parking options at orientation. You do not need to worry about this before you arrive. Below are the parking options and rates available through the University of Michigan.

Parking Permit Options and Annual Rates for Knight-Wallace Fellows

• Blue Pass-- Hang Tag, with Mcard number programmed for gate access - $82 per month (This will give you access to large parking lots in all parts of campus, and will typically get you within 5-6 blocks of anywhere you need to go.)

• Orange - $22 per month (This will enable you to park in lots that are far from campus-- not walking distance-- but have free and round-the-clock shuttle buses bringing folks to campus.)

Parking near Wallace House for seminars and other events can be challenging before 4:15pm. You will likely find parking on South University in front of Angell School after 4:15 p.m. on weekdays. Parking before 4:15 p.m. will likely get you a ticket. The Wallace House driveway is reserved for speakers, staff and vendors only.

There are two bus systems available to you as fellows: one operated by the University and the other by the city of Ann Arbor.
