Outreach

I value STEM outreach that engages younger students and introduces them to the world of engineering through hands-on experiences, which contribute to nurturing their interests and expanding their horizons. I also believe this engagement makes the concept of becoming an engineer more tangible for them. By inspiring interest at an early stage, these initiatives can ignite a passion for STEM and help cultivate a more diverse generation of human-centered professionals.

I served as lead author on the Girls in Science and Engineering Summer (GISE) Camp initiative, which was accepted for presentation at the 2024 American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) Annual Conference [C3].
