Dr. Rebecca M. Quintana In her role of Learning Experience Design Lead at the University of Michigan’s (U-M) Center of Academic Innovation, Quintana uses a learner-centered approach to design and develop online learning experiences for diverse audiences of global learners. Quintana is also an Intermittent Lecturer at the School of Education where she teaches courses such as Video Games and Learning, Principles of Software Design for Learning, and Learning Experience Design.

Dr. Elisabeth Gerber is the Jack L. Walker, Jr. Collegiate Professor of Public Policy, Associate Dean for Research and Policy Engagement, and Professor (by courtesy) of Political Science, at the University of Michigan. Gerber’s 30+ years of research and teaching on collective decision-making and multi-stakeholder governance led her to develop - in collaboration with UM's Center for Academic Innovation - ViewPoint, a software platform for supporting role-playing simulations.
