This image is what we used to test our algorithm. It was a simple test image with 9 different colors. We'll be using this image to illustrate how our process works.

Our code is designed to output an audio signal (played by the script), an image of the original image, an image of the path that was random walked on the sections of the image, and a greyscale image of the Random walk. These outputs images and an audio file of the sound are below. We ran the algorithm on the image three times to illustrate the effect of Random Walk and how it will result in a different output every time since the random walk path will be different every time.

What These Results Mean
What These Results Mean
Ultimately these tests and the resulting audio from them show that we achieved our goal to create a functioning algorithm to turn images into audio. They also show the use of Random Walk as a processing tool and how it can be used to generate a different audio signal every time even when using the exact same image.
