In this project, I created a sixth-grade astronomy Google Classroom page. This project was important to me because I may want to resort to having my classrooms organized online on Google's platform. I learned how to grade and return assignments, how to invite students to my class, and how to encourage active participation through an online mode.
In this project, I created a classroom game that can be accessed through a simple slide show on Google Slides. This project was important to me because I learned how to navigate Google Slides in a way that I have never done before. I learned how to add hyperlinks to go from one slide to another within the presentation, how to use Google Slides for a purpose other than just presenting a slide show, and an extremely engaging game that can be edited to fit so many grades and content areas.
In this project, I created a Google Form that could be sent to a whole school, class, or individual students. This form was hypothetical asking about spirit week ideas that students could vote on, but Google Forms can be used for much more than this. This project is important because navigating Google Forms is something that I will want to grow comfortable with. It is a quick way to survey my students, whether it be by anonymous poll or for a graded quiz, the customization is endless. I learned how to make Google Forms collect emails or remain anonymous, how to ask various forms of questions, and how to customize the appearance of the form itself.
