Madeleine noticed the lack of period products in the dorm bathrooms the first time she got her period after moving in. She had forgotten to bring pads with her to school, and so she had to borrow menstrual products from friends because they were unavailable at the dorm bathrooms.
She shared a lot of common feelings about this issue, including:
"[The lack of period products] is annoying; it would be handy to just have them there for convenience and emergencies."
"It's weird that you can go downstairs and there are pads to use, but in your actual hall bathroom, there aren't any."
Blue hasn't noticed the lack of period products in the dorm bathrooms, but she has noticed that they are in the public restrooms on the U of M campus. She always keeps a good stock of her own period products, but feels it would be valuable to have period products in the dorm bathrooms for emergencies and convenience when necessary.
Some notable quotes from her:
"I love it when there is period stuff in the bathroom because you just never know what will happen."
"Sometimes I think I'm prepared, and then I realize that I had underprepared or I just really didn't know it was coming... It would be really nice [to have]."
