I am a PhD candidate in the Kharbush and GRiTS labs. I study organic matter preservation in low-oxygen freshwater environments, with a focus on carbon and nitrogen cycling. My research spans both modern and ancient systems, where I use stable isotopes along with compound-specific isotopes to trace biogeochemical processes.
I am currently seeking postdoctoral opportunities to continue exploring the cycling of bioactive elements in terrestrial aquatic systems.
Expected 2026: PhD Earth and Environmental Science, University of Michigan
2021: B.A. Environmental Science, Northwestern University
Fellowships
2021: University of Michigan Rackham Merit Fellowship
2021: NSF Graduate Research Fellowship (GRFP)
