About Me
I grew up in the Southern Tier region of New York and graduated from Cornell University in 2015 with a B.A. in Linguistics. Before I began the PhD program at the University of Michigan, I worked in my hometown in upstate New York as a swim coach for an age group swim team. More recently, I have taken up Olympic-style weightlifting. In hindsight, perhaps my interest in concepts and contexts of efficiency, utility, and proficiency began with athletics and sports biomechanics...
I also enjoy playing D&D, over-analyzing trends in pop music, and doting on my cat.
