The Event
The Brain Bee is an international neuroscience competition founded by Dr. Norbert Myslinski in 1998. Since its inception, the Brain Bee has grown to feature over 25,000 competitors from over 20 countries (https://thebrainbee.org/).
The Brain Bee at Michigan will consist of 3 sessions:
Session I involves a 55-question written examination of multiple choice questions
Session II involves 15 interactive questions that are responded to verbally using 3D models, diagrams, and MRI/CT scans (The top eight performers in Session I will advance to Session II)
Session III involves the same style of questions as Session II. In Session III, each student will have an opportunity to answer the same question. The first student to answer a question correctly that the other student missed will be declared the winner of the 2025 Michigan Brain Bee (The top two performers in Session II will advance to Session III)
