The Michigan Brain Bee (MBB) is a neuroscience competition for high school students interested in the brain. The winner of the MBB will earn a cash prize and the chance to represent the University of Michigan in the National Brain Bee!

To be guaranteed to participate in a neuroscience lab visit, participants must register by February 18th, 2026 AND must fill out any additional waivers by the deadlines to be eligible. These will be emailed on a later date.
To be guaranteed a shirt, participants must register by March 1st, 2026
The deadline to register for the 2026 Michigan Brain Bee is March 7th, 2026

Studying for the Brain Bee Competition
