The 2026 EPI also includes "Administrator Survey" within the "Performance as Classroom Teachers" category. We received a 92.9% in this area, exceeding the state average score. We received a 92.4% in "Educator Effectiveness Ratings". Graduates from UM-Flint initial certification programs were rated as 'effective' in the classroom.
Summary of Measure 4
To gather additional information about our graduates and where they are hired, we use a “Where are you now?” survey that is found on the UM-Flint Education website and can be completed at any time. According to this survey of the graduates in the 2024-2025 academic year, 17 students were hired immediately after graduation. Of those students, 41% were hired at the same student that of their student teaching or within the same school district. We continuously receiving updates from completers throughout the year and when they choose to move schools/districts
