عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
"من سلك طريقًا يلتمس فيه علما سهل الله له به طريقًا إلى الجنة"
((رواه مسلم))
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
"Allah makes the way to Jannah [Paradise] easy for the one who treads the path in search of knowledge."

We are a Participatory Action Research (PAR) team of Muslim Women in STEM at the University of Maryland, College Park aspiring to decolonize STEM education through methodologies rooted in Islamic epistemology.
We aim to amplify our fellow sisters’ voices in combating Western narratives and rewriting our story. We bring a decolonial explanation to the experiences of Muslim women pursuing STEM in the West, investigating the intersection of STEM, faith, and gender identities.
Our current research focus is to investigate the relationships between Islamic values and history, and the pursuit of STEM for the Muslim female population in the U.S., a postcolonial Western society. We hope to better understand this phenomena in order toalign our own growth with that of our fellowcommunity members, and to ultimately inspire Muslim women to pursue STEM through their reconnecting with Islamic principles.
