About Me

I am a sophomore at the University of Maryland, currently in the Information Science major with a plan to concentrate in Cyber Security. Originally from Sykesville, Maryland, this school is the college I always envisioned myself at. My interests include running, cooking, pottery, and being with animals. Throughout my upbringing, art always remained a valuable thing in my life, mostly due to my parents, who taught me that you can turn anything into beautiful art. However, a majority of my recent pieces have been made with a grade in mind, so I am excited to explore my creative freedom doing things that I enjoy.

As a College Park Arts Scholar, I intend to continue my love for art despite it not being a part of my intended major. I am excited to use the resources provided by the Arts Scholars Program to develop my appreciation of the arts through mediums I have yet to explore. I will continue to give back to the community through service and be able to appreciate the bonds formed in the program with people of similar interests.
