COVID-19 Vaccine Communications for Maryland LHICs

About the UMD-PRC COVID-19 Vaccination Communications Project

The University of Maryland Prevention Research Center (UMD-PRC) is dedicated to research, service and training around issues of mental health among LGBTQ+ communities. The UMD-PRC and the Horowitz Center for Health Literacy worked on a CDC funded project to contribute to COVID-19 vaccine confidence from May 2021 to May 2022. We worked with Local Health Improvement Coalitions (LHICs) and their partners to implement behavioral nudges to increase vaccine confidence and remove barriers to accessing the COVID-19 vaccines.

Welcome LHICs and LHIC Partners!

Our team created this site to centralize the resources available to you. On the site you can find: customizable content, background about vaccine confidence, relevant data on behavioral nudges, communications guides, webinars, and insight into what other LHICs across the state of Maryland are doing.
