Biography & Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Jenna Hargrove, and I'm an Information Science major from Annapolis, MD. Over the past three years, I’ve worked as a lifeguard, balancing my passion for art, music, and history. I’ve been playing the bass for over eight years, and I enjoy performing whenever I get the chance. Visiting museums, attending concerts, and exploring art showcases are some of my favorite activities. Some of my biggest artistic inspirations are Pulp, JC Leyendecker, and Hirohiko Araki.
In my free time, I love rewatching RuPaul's Drag Race, hitting the gym, diving into Wikipedia rabbit holes, and baking sourdough bread. Post graduation I want to work in Instructional Design, I’m enthusiastic about the journey ahead.
As a student in the Scholars program, I’m thrilled about the opportunity to immerse myself in more art and explore various creative outlets. This program is the perfect way to continue my artistic journey!
