Creative Process
During the process of creating this project I learned about how much revision and alteration goes into curating a successful project. Many of my pieces went through drastic alterations and revisions.
My second poster titled Silvoarable went through many alterations and changes before reaching the final piece. The piece was intially planned to be a fairly bland poster with a very muted color scheme. It was also meant to resemble a 1950s- 1960s ad. The main colors in the poster were beige, damp green and a less vibrant cherry red. The poster matched really well with the asthetics of my other paintings and poster but it did not resemble the style of ad I was envisioning. I went back to my refrences and drew heavily from them to create a poster in the style I wanted. I revised many components of my capstone multiple times.
I also utilized the workplan from CPSA250. In the work plan I set benchmarks and deadlines for different parts of my capstone. The workplan gave me a physical and quantifiable visual of the progress of my capstone project. The project helped me recognize when I was falling behind or when I was ahead in my capstone project process. The workplan was very helpful in keeping on schedule and allowed me to rework,, revise and alter differnt parts of my capstone to meet the deadline.
