Misplaced Confidence is a carnival-style game where players toss balls that represent food waste products into the appropriate waste destination and watch them come out to the correct answer. The game first addresses the misconceptions many people have about waste disposal by shocking its players. It then takes the confusion it created for people and explains their sorting mistakes through the QR code, making it so they cannot leave this information behind. Misplaced Confidence draws people in by presenting itself as a fun, interactive game, making a heavy-handed issue more accessible. This exhibit serves as an eye opening experience in a palatable form.
