is that it isn't linear. Creating something may have an end goal, however, there isn't always a set way to obtain your goal. When planning out my project, I allotted enough time for every step to go smoothly, thinking that everything would go to plan. I soon realized that the creative process wasn't as strightforward as I imagined, encountering bumps in the road. With sewing pieces from scratch in particular, I ran into obstacles of sewing to my own measurements and working with the matierals I already owned. I would often get very focused on a set pattern idea, yet not have enough fabric to complete it. Working with fabric was very difficult because it was a medium I wasn’t super confident in but watching tutorials definitely helped. I also used the time blocking method that we learned in class to prioritize my time and not get burnt out. Especially creating clothing from scratch, I was getting frustrated and overwhelmed. Using time blocking, it helped me focus on specific tasks and helped me manage my capstone project with other school projects.
